Dr. Carmelo is a highly-skilled, Italian board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 10 years of experience. He is a world-class trainer on Vaser Liposuction and Hyacorp Body Filler and is known for providing the highest standard of aesthetic services using the most advanced techniques to offer his patients the best, most natural-looking results.
Dr. Carmelo graduated from the University of Messina, Italy, and holds memberships with AICPE (Italian Society of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery), ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), IPSN (Interactive Plastic Surgery Network), and EPSS (Emirates Plastic Surgery Society)
Before coming to Dubai, in 2016, Dr. Carmelo practiced in several prestigious and leading hospitals and medical centers around the world, including the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and Mexico. During then, he gained extensive experience in many aspects of plastic, reconstructive, and microsurgery, and mastered a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, such as non-surgical buttocks augmentation (using fillers and fat), Botox, body fillers, and laser treatments.
Dr. Carmelo is keen on keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in plastic surgery by participating in international seminars, conferences, and courses relevant to his field. Moreover, Dr. Carmelo has a long academic career during which he participated in many pieces of research and produced several publications on plastic and reconstructive surgery.
